Dance HQ Was Established In 2019 By Karen McNaughton. In Beautiful Lake Taupo, NZ. Born And Bred In Taupo And Danced Since Age 4 It Was Always A Dream To Own A Dance Studio In My Hometown. After Training Extensively At The New Zealand School Of Dance And The London Contemporary Dance And Performing And Working With Top Choreographers And Dancers Internationally, I Wanted To Be Able To Offer Exceptional Training To Our Local Dancers, So That They Too Could Achieve Their Dreams. After Deciding It Was Time To Teach And Not Dance Myself, I Completed A 3-Year Certificate In RAD Teaching Studies To Become Qualified As An RAD Ballet Teacher. I Am A Firm Believer That If You Have The Right Mindset, You Can Achieve Anything You Put Your Energy And Time Into. And This Is What Prompted Our Slogan DREAM.BELIEVE.ACHIEVE Which We Have On All Of Our Uniform As A Constant Reminder To Stay Positive And Focused On Your Dreams.
